The club was founded in 2002 as a pub team by Gerry Donaghue and macca McCabe with help from the then landlord of the cumberland hotel Les, playing in the lancaster & morecambe sunday league, we were first called Cumberland view Hoops ! we reached the challenge cup final in our first season only to lose to squires 1.0 by an own goal. we then decided to apply to play in the north lancs and district football league (sat) where we gained promotion in our first season. we are now in the 2nd div and are hoping to step up to the 1st div this term.watch this space ! 2002/03 SUNDAY LEAGUE CHALLENGE CUP RUNNERS UP 2003/04 NORTH LANCS 3RD DIV RUNNERS UP 2005/06 LEAGUE CUP RUNNERS UP 2006/07 2ND DIV RUNNERS UP LEAGUE CUP RUNNERS UP PROMOTIN TO 1ST DIV FOR THE FIRST TIME
